Sarah was a 40 Under
Forty honoree in 2010. Since winning the award,
Sarah and her husband John welcomed their first
child, daughter Isabella Maley, in February
2011. This life change brought about another:
the decision to become a business owner. The
idea arose from Sarah’s interactions with small,
emerging and not-for-profit businesses that
often lack the time or in-house expertise to
effectively handle crucial aspects of the
employment relationship. These employers need an
experienced and affordable partner to work
side-by-side with them to handle the human side
of their businesses. In July 2011, Sarah founded
Delaney Vero, PLLC – a law firm that provides
creative, cost-effective and trustworthy
employment law and human resources services to
employers.
